Smile Safari is changing the way kids see the dentist.
We know how daunting and stressful dental visits can be, so that’s why we’re bringing the dentist directly to kids! Your child will receive their earliest dental check-ups and cleans right in the comfort of their childcare centre.
By treating children in an environment that is already familiar to them with their friends and educators around for support, they feel safe and comfortable. This allows for a calm experience and helps build confidence at the dentist which can’t always be achieved at your typical dental clinic.
We’ve adapted our service to needs of young children and deliver it with a child-centered approach. There’s no white coats and no scary sounds. During visits we encourage learning and curiosity. Children will ask questions, explore the tools we use and learn through interaction and role play. It’s super fun and every child goes home with a gift pack.
We are strong advocates for education, prevention and early intervention. We visit regularly as it allows us to carefully monitor the development of the teeth and jaws, and keep an eye out for any issues before they develop into bigger problems. Regular visits also help foster healthy routines so that your child becomes familiar with the dentist and health professionals within our community.
Our end goal is to create a positive early experience at the dentist to set children up for lifetime of great health!
